Getting my weird oddball find in before Spoo crushes this thread.

Tried one of those tiny little assistance society thrift stores in an old house. Only thing I found was this 2008 NBA All-Star Game tie. Cheaply made in China, no collectible value whatsoever- I don't care, I love it.

Picked these two up this morning. The chair was $19.99 so I figured why not. Couldn't find any markings on it so I have no idea about quality/maker, probably nothing special.

The Hilfiger shirt was six bucks and a size small so I was pretty excited to find it.

Thanks for the messages everyone. We're now on the road (we just passed Sinclair, WY heading west on I-80). Kona is having fun so far.

First store hit in a very long time. This weekend is all about operation backlog. Would appreciate a legit check on these since they're returnable.

Yup. I have a love/hate relationship with that place. I've gotten some of my best hauls there, but most of it is so overpriced.

I do believe those BBC jeans are real. Also made in Japan is what you want for sure. I left em because they were too not over the top. If that makes sense. I too agree they're way overpriced. I believe that's Savers in general.

Trippy jacket from '71. Probably poly but it was under $3

lbm 1911 with amazing woven fabric - This jacket came from a store I've never found anything worth buying, for five years. Persistence pays off :foo:

I ran into @rhyme the other day. He shows me some trousers and asks if I've seen the jacket. I had picked it up a couple days prior and the pants finally come out. Rhyme being a cool dude hands them to me without missing a beat

Can we talk about this jacket? I almost always skip on oxxford with this tag but no way was I leaving the store without this. Its got some condition issues - the velvet has worn away in some areas. Has anyone ever attempted to repair that kind of damage?

@silverwarebandit @rhyme there was a navy oxxford crest orphan jacket spotted yesterday afternoon if you actually got two pair of trousers another jacket might still be there now.

    From today.

Can I get an authenticity check on a few things, first?

LV ties - not sure on these, leaning more towards real than fake, but I almost never see them so not sure (EDIT - the one on the right, not so sure now - weird spacing on the label in the pic)...eh, one on the left looks suspect now too...

And this hat - pretty sure this is fugazi:

    And the rest:

New without box Baltimora's, then I notice when I get home that both zippers are broken (missing the zipper pulls). FML. Probably get them fixed since they were cheap enough.

Appears NWOT, unless some doof wore it with the sleeve tag still on, and threads hanging from the rear vent.

I usually despise going out on holiday weekends but I woke up with the itch, my wife had the itch, and my kid was cooperating, so off we went.

all from today. All short sleeve and sleeveless tops were $0.99c, so got me a set of classic polos and the ones that are too big are for my dad. Cant beat that.

    Burberry mac is ultra recent.

The oddball at the end, shown with dachshund for reference in size, I saw at an estate sale and thought was cool. So I slip it to my daughter, told her to hold it under her arm when we go pay. They had some ridiculous prices for designer stuff, so I thought I would give the kid angle a roll. The Burberry mac was at the same place, I get to the checkout and ask how much it was and I thought she said $50, so I said I would take it. Then she says "No, I said $250". I said oh no no no. Keep it, but how much is this doll for my kid? She says $5. I say OK, Ill just take that. She says make me an offer on the Burberry. I say well, $50. She says meet me at $150, I say, heres the $5 for the doll, don't worry about it. She says, gimme the $50 and have a great weekend :slayer:.

anyway, apparently this thing is super fucking rare and google isn't giving me much, but I'm feeling alright about it with those two listings that are up and that one blurb on the teddy bear blog :uhoh: that I found. :D
