But, change the buttons to MOP or horn.
Wear as a more formal side blazer. Perhaps itll look odd with jeans since the jacket doesnt have more casual features like patch pockets. Trousers and dress shirt+tie!

Busy week so not much time to thrift but it's been an educational week to be sure. I've been trying to stretch out into new brands and items that weren't clothes. So much to learn.

Jars plates and accent plates (unfortunately couldn't find the bowl or mugs)

Trafalgar belt (pretty sure it's NWOT). Unfortunately, too small for me.

Isaia x BBGF with EZ fabric. Size 41/35.

Brown even though the pic doesn't show it well. Shout out to @Brianpore for helping me with identification.

Brooks Brothers. No maker's tags. Don't know what the material is but it almost feels like gaberdine. Just liked the colors.

Incotex Ivory. Diffusion line but super comfortable and a perfect fit.

Burberry London. 40R. Maker's tags are sewn in so they're difficult to show.

RRL (my first!). So sad that it's too big for me. I would wear the crap out of it.

I found these but couldn't find anything about Zippo clothes except a 2014 FB page but they don't even mention them on their site. Had to get them because of the mystery.

Are these selvedge? I'm still unsure of what to look for.

And rounding it all out was this pair of women's size 6 Thakoon Addition pants which happened to be in the men's section. Checked the retail prices and they weren't too shabby so I picked them up.

Speaking of buttons, where do you guys buy your sets of buttons?

I found a very recent Canali orphan in a grey twill that I would like to change to brown buttons I think. Maybe horn and wear with my new Canali brown cuords I think.

Thanks, man. I didn't even see that [IMG] I'm a complete scrub when it comes to Zegna. Forgive me.

Yeah, all solid navy. A bit long for me, so it'll probably be going on the bay tonight.

I've been on the hunt for some nice crisp white chinos for a while; which are slim, but not skinny. Some PRL ones popped up in the store, perfect. No stains on the outside, nothing. Looked brand new... but a lovely yellow circular stain that we all dread showed up in the lining. [IMG]

It is Su Misura, so check the dimensions carefully. It could be a heavily modified 48L

Really quick one, is this worth tailoring or just flip it?

That fits pretty well already, Purp. The back could be cleaned up a little maybe, but I'd say it's worth keeping.

Shoulders look good (and nicely made), sleeves are a decent length, buttoning point is fine for your waist. I'd keep it and wear as is if it were me. Re. White chinos, have a look at your local TK Maxx shops if you don't mind spending £30-40, they've got plenty of PRL in, and maybe some Hackett. And someone was asking about buttons? You know those 6x1 damaged orphan jackets that no-one buys and end up in the £1/$1 bin? That's where I get mine from. A knackered Valentino suit gave up a load of buttons recently, as did a motheaten SC.

So, doing my normal Monday route. Guy comes up out of nowhere, grabs my wallet and takes off. Such a bullshit day. I guess, luckily, it wasn't until after my 4th store? Will post finds later or some shit.

The thing is, the thrifts around here price everything including ripped up garbage at like the $15 to $40 point. I see some people rip/cut buttons off in the change room but I just don't have the heart.

For a bit. I'm out of shape and winded quickly. Plus, dude was just faster than me.
