Great haul @colorvision. I especially like finding Icelandic wool clothes. Some of the best wool in the world IMO.

All right, great! Thanks for the info. The surface just felt kind of...rough, especially compared to the Kiton which I found at the same time. Than again, Ive never seen Brioni ties before so can´t compare.

Quote:Does anyone know the date ranges for the Canali labels? Is Blue the oldest?

Nothing for me at my one stop yesterday but some of the stuff I saw.

There's a gorgeous very recent solid navy hugo boss suit guabello super 130 Jam Sharp suit but it's a 42L at Hurontario and 401. I'd have to hem the sleeves over 2 inches so not worth it for me but a PSA for those who need one. It needs to be pressed. There's an even nicer recent Hugo Boss Blue Velvet jacket but be careful it's damaged on the sleeve. There's also a very recent Harry Rosen Bespoke Navy jacket, still with the stiching on the shoulders and large shell buttons but it's quite tiny. Inside tags have been removed so I'm not sure the size but I couldn't put it on.

And finally this super cool sweater, made in the USA. Not sure it is anything special but it looks awesome. Unfortunately it didn't fit </3

Thanks. In the field. My phone is slow for some reason. 1994 Guild D4. Pre-Fender, so nice, but not amazing.

So ... bummer. But these make up for it. The Astral Weeks seems to be the original pressing (Green label from 1968).

This a thing? I don't really think it's real shearling, kinda hard to tell though

other side of tag says "lining: 70 acetate 30 cupro" theres no fabric lining that I can find, so I imagine it refers to the "fur".

Not sure if I'm too late, but if you buy it, make sure the area by the bridge isn't bowing at all. If it is, that's a $$$$ fix for something that probably wouldn't be worth it.

Trying to catch up. I was out for spring break with the kids and grandkids.

Spent 4 days in Oklahoma near the Texas Border. Thrifted a little during the day (will have to post pics later as everything is still in the car) and each night had a bonfire!

I found a few things yesterday back at home that I didn't buy but wondered if someone else was interested. The estate sales are still going on today:

Bicycles! Huffy, Schwinn, other brands I don't know. All older bikes priced from $50-100. But, discounts daily at the sale.

Anybody need a Vespa? only 7,000 miles.

Found several Patagonia for women. I left them because they wanted $15-35 each

I did buy one thing at a sale yesterday:

Gucci sunglasses (minty!) with the Box!

At one stop in Oklahoma I found 6 Oxxford suits even reunited two orphans. HOWEVER, as I looked them over, EACH ONE had multiple moth holes.

    Real or embossed calf?

This, and an Eton shirt, are the only two things I found at a GW store opening this morning. I may have missed out on some shoes. The suit rack was a total disappointment (almost all orphans, and even then nothing of note). There were maybe 25 ties, total. Housewares and furniture looked well stocked, but that section was a madhouse.

Today we learned why staying home from work to prep for a 2-yo's birthday party is a good idea.

Revisiting the orphan vs. SC debate I started a few weeks ago... I am assuming that if any of us saw this on the racks, we'd automatically think "orphan."

    ... but it's sold as a SC.

Makes me regret passing on a twill J.Press jacket I thought was an orphan yesterday.
