GWAR and Morton Downey Jr taught me that that symbol (whirling log?) is rotating the *wrong* way in any case besides. that 100-year-old textile came out of a thrift? holy shit!

That was from an estate sale. An INSANE house. I went down to the basement. Then the sub-basement. Then the sub-sub-basement and people were getting weirded out how wet and dark it was - all these narrow passages and original quarry stone walls.

I commented about how it was pretty much the same basement as Silence of the Lambs, and how I felt really comfortable there and asked if anyone had some lotion, and everyone left. So I grabbed the stuff I wanted and made haste.

First post here in this forum...

Before meeting up with @impuntura today to snag that sweet Seraphin jacket he posted earlier today, I picked up these for myself at the Harry Rosen Outlet for a little over $200 Canadian...

    thriftergy!

popped a sensational Thom Browne skinny repp along with a vintage Bottega Veneta printed satin tie (lotta ties lately!). won't disgrace with a potato pic but maybe later.

also never ever thought i would cop Hickey Freeman but i picked up a terrific circa 60s one button specimen.

First time I went in there, probably 5 or 6 years ago, right around when he sold, he was there working that day. Guy truly loved that store.
It is absolutely pristine every time you go in.
