Yeah they feel a little wide for "slim" but look okay here:

    Leg opening looks good there.
And ya, I hate the rise on the slims. No idea who wants a rise that low...

It used to be higher. I have a pair from 2009, and the rise is an inch higher, and the seat is more comfortable than my 2012 pair.

Damn that would make sense. I purchased my first pair late 2010 and fit better. Hmmm

I have the same problem . . . large RRL long sleeve shirts are frequently too large and mediums are usually too small. This makes my tailor very happy.

    Just received a 34 slim . . . leg opening was approx 8 in.

RRL slims are not like slim cuts from other brands . . . they are more akin to a traditional slim straight.

PSA- RRL Melrose Store is running a 30% off all accessories including leather bags and boots. This sale is for Friday and Saturday only.
Not local? Call the store and ask a SA (Ryan is a good guy, but there are others like him) to help you with your order (323) 944-0301

re: leg opening talk, I just got the low straights in a 28, and the opening measures maybe 7.4". I'm actually thinking about keeping them. I usually wouldn't go for anything with a 32 inseam, but they seem to be just long enough to work with the (relatively) wider leg opening.

The rigid clyde trousers are pretty nice, although I definitely have to get them taken in at the seat. I'm a little on the fence about the officer chinos in 'natural', but they're interesting enough that I'll probably end up keeping them even if they aren't all that versatile.

    Epic beard.

I think you're one of the few users here who fully captures the "feel" of RRL. Out of curiosity do you wear RRL exclusively?

Any pics of the chinos in natural? Don't they have a speckled pattern on them?

Yeah, definitely speckling, which is what I like about them. Sorry, crappy cell phone pic is all I can offer at the moment.

Thanks, I'd say 90% of my wardrobe is RRL, other brands I use would include: mr freedom, boots from oak street bootmakers and yuketen, hellers cafe for tshirts and sweaters because if their attention to authentic reproductions, freewheelers and company makes nice tshirts as well for that moto look.

Trying to decide between RRL and Saint James breton style sweaters. Keep one, both, neither? I probably could have sized down to XS but I find the sleeves too tight in XS. The Saint James is meant to fit tight all over. RRL fabric is soft and Saint James is rough/stretchy. Made in France Vs. Made in China.
