My roper jacket arrived today. Love everything about it. Definitely a piece that pulled me into the brand more. Love the detailing and construction, feels really good around the shoulders.

New stuff arrived today, empire buckle backs, few other things. We need more actual pics in this thread, I'm beginning to think that everyone in here only buys sale items or off of eBay.

did you notice the rrl versions? not quite the same but I agree with you its an awesome style:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221338313501&ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:US:1120

picked up a pair of each. hoping they fit but i anticipate a trip to the tailor to slim down the leg opening.

I'm pretty sure the Cliftons are made by Red Wing.

I actually have the 1st pair in my saved items but the 2nd pair u bought are so good. I never saw those. I have to say i do like the slim bottoms on the pair i grabbed & the fabric is better than the price

those look great. love the non-traditional cargo look with the pockets on the front of the thighs as opposed to the side of the knee

Yea the pockets & fit make these a lot more stylish. I just gave up a pair of J brands I loved so these are great considering I how much I love army green cargos with denim tops.

Random question...how come there has never been an RRL fragrance?

I feel like there is so much a cologne could do under the RRL name...

That's what I've heard but I'm not entirely sold on that, the writing on the inside indicating size, etc. looks a lot like rancourt which I also have a few of not to mention they make several shoes for Ralph Lauren.

OT question: How are you guys accessing the RRL section of the RL site?

The RRL site I'm directed to is that annoying flash-heavy site: http://www.ralphlauren.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=11757743&ab=global_men_rrl

    Thanks.

The other one.. Actually I only found this version by adding something to my cart , then clicking view cart and clicking the item I just added. It takes you to the non flash version which is way easier to deal with.

You look wonderful. Really great. Isn't it comfortable to wear a denim vest underneath the jacket?

Thanks. Do you mean uncomfortable? I didnt have any trouble buttoning up the jacket over top of the vest even though I am essentially wearing two jackets.

Yeah you might be right. The description hints at SB Foot tannery and that makes me think Red Wing. I think Thorogood is also a possibility.
