The Slim Straight is the cone denim that's on sale and was on sale last season for $159 too.

Slim Fit Japanese almost never goes on sale. Maybe once in a while like 2 years ago it was included and I recall a bunch of people ordered it using someone's private sale code and they cancelled most of the orders. I think certain stores put the left over scraps on sale every once in a while before the new stock comes in but now that this should be the last batch they're probably going to keep them until they sell for MSRP.

Looks like the Waverly Chambray is the only thing I wanted that's included in this round.

I tried on the green cardigan in store last weekend. The lambswool was worm but the knit was not as dense as I hoped. I ended up passing on it.

Yes. An Alden wingtip boot in cigar cordovan will run you $700+ if you can find one.
The C&J sourced Lindricks are better finished and also use Horween cordovan.

Whether you want to spend that much is a different question, but you're not going to find a better cordovan boot at that price.

Pretty much this (I've owned Alden cigar boots too). I mis-sized last time around and they're out of my size anyway this time.

    Good to know.

    No peacoat included. Sad panda.

Exactly. I would not purchase precisely for this reason.

Enough already, just buy all the sizes you think you'd might fit into and return what doesn't work. They have a great returns policy.

I quite liked the first one when I tried it on but I didn't think it was worth full price for some reason. It was a few months ago so I can't really remember why unfortunately. Have you considered the Merino shawls? http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/...men_cs2_seeall&view=99&pg=2&parentPage=family I tried the faded navy one on and thought it was gorgeous. Really thick and soft.

Thanks, will take a look. Just wanted to pick up a few things online before sale started Thursday. Just need the herringbone green chinos now. And regarding the leather, I tried it on as well, nice slim fit. A bit heavier than I expected as well but at current price I'd only get if I really like design / style and need a leather. Otherwise I'd wait for the $650-700 range

Doesn't hurt to order to see though

Anyone have experience in the Slim Straight rigid? I have several Low Straight pairs and was wondering if the fit was similar to the Low Straight but with a higher rise.
