Thanks for the suggestions on the sale strategy everyone. Wound up picking up the Dixon Jacket in Large along with a pair of the Yuma buckle-backs in 32X34. They were the last ones so I figured I'd pounce on the things I liked for which there appeared limited quantity, and anything else I'm good with a wait-and-see approach.

Loving these right now but also was expecting them to be a bit more loose in the thigh area. Either way they are staying with me,

Got the last pair in a tagged 34 waist & measures 36 exactly

Looking good Namor, love the trouser boot combo! Have they reduced the weight to 9oz now? looks like these are getting lighter by the year!

thanks farhad. the 9.23oz (red selvedge, slightly darker) is from a couple seasons ago, found on ebay. current chino available online is 10.5oz (selvedge, no line) and is significantly stiffer and feels course to the touch. wore the 9.23oz for a couple hours and theyve already loosened up comfortably. the 10.5 will need a couple days more

Nice! How's your other pair looking from that old contest? Would love to see how those are looking now as well.

I think I've washed mine once lol literally have been treating my officer chinos like a pair of raw denim lol

so I ordered like 15x pairs of RRL chinos in different cuts and sizes during this sale.

Conclusion: fabric on the slim chinos right now is pretty ******. stretches a TON, like the selvedge chinos really. which is crazy. much prefer the regular officer chino with a taper below the knee.

i would not buy PRL footwear. I also think RRL footwear is kind of ******, but I know that's a minority opinion.

My Canyon Boots (from a couple of years back) are holding up very well and they take an absolute beating. I would never have paid retail ($850) but at ~$100 BNIB on eBay they were an absolute steal.

These burnished things look like crap, and I seriously wonder about the quality of construction.

I really hope there will be a bigger sale with RRL next time around...I held back from purchasing many items...
