I'm 5'10" 150, usually take a S in most brands with the very occasional M, which is what I got here.

Did you guys cop this stuff with the 30% black friday coupon?
I'm still waiting for the 40% off to grab one of the mac coats or bombers if they are around in XL's.
If I was certain they'd fit I'd buy at full price, but the last few things I've bought from Ervell haven't fit me.

I got mine at 30% off from Rooney. When does the 40% off typically start? I might go for a pocket sweater if my size is left

This is the only thing I don't like about it. Honestly it makes me a little uncomfortable because I don't want people thinking that I'm wearing women's clothing. Are some knits just like this for men or is this a design flaw?

I think they messed up. The wool-neoprene version has normal buttoning:

I'm wondering if I'm going to be walking around looking like a dingus with a ladies cardigan on.

"IT'S NOT A LADIES CARDIGAN IT WAS JUST MADE THIS WAY, MAN."

eh, the piece is comfy and fits me well, that's all I care about. It is pretty weird that the other version has standard buttoning though

Can anybody comment on the sizing for the aran knit? Referrring to the ivory model specifically as its different than the grey. Im 6'1 168 and med looks to be what is worn but im not sure if sizing up is better...

No one will notice. No one. It would still be a dealbreaker for me either way though.

I remember another piece on their webstore that buttoned opposite last season. Or maybe it was a shirt with the pocket on the wrong side. Something like that, but I can't remember. Great story.

I keep thinking about a pocket sweater, but that 24.75 length (on a medium) keeps holding me back.

I've always wanted a pocket sweater. I have this thing where I cant stand when elbows get baggy and it looks like the kind of knit that does that easily. Please don't tell my bank account if this is false.

You are correct. Every one I own and have owned has had terribly saggy elbows within a few hours.

Yeah these kinds of knits are always like that. I'll probably still get one some day because they're perfect. Has anybody had experience with the lightweight pocket sweaters? I missed out on a black one a while back and really regret it.

I have a lightweight one from last season that I like. Alpaca Silk blend is really nice, although not as soft as 100% alpaca. Last year the fit was a bit slimmer than the regular pocket sweater. Supposed to be a layering-under piece.

Can anyone comment on the navy vs olive fabrics for the field coat this season? Looking to pick one up, also what size would be best for a 40 US?

Sounds like they run bigger this season, more TTS. They were kinda slim last year.
