^Yet another gorgeous pair from Bontoni. The maker appeals to me more with each model, I'm partial to their round toes. Far too many pointy monsters from Italy on the market already.

I agree with the toe aspect. It's the perfect shape. Not to pointy and not too narrow either. Fits so well. My favorite maker by far

Its a moot point but bontoni might just have the worst handwriting inside of a shoe. Looks like they wrote it after the shoes were fully made up.

I think the handwriting is rather charming myself.

Totally agree. Mine aren't MTO , but the script matches the handwriting in mine as well. That's a nice personal touch.

It will be interesting to see them worn and then buffed and polished in few months.

Just finished polishing a pair of monk straps that started off as dark brown approximately five years ago.

Just purchased this pair of Bontoni "Excelsior" triple monk with peeble grain. Photographed in jeans.. though I will probably only wear with tailored clothing. [IMG]

Stanley Korshak in Dallas. I'm almost dreading the day I first wear them... I just want to wipe them down with a soft cloth!

Dwinnier - those are nice, I really like what Bontoni is doing with the Pebble Grain.

Got word that my Bontoni's have landed at Mario's in Seattle so I should have them in a few days. Split toe oxfords in medium Brown.
