I haven't been this excited since Willis Roberts, Willie Otonez, Calvin Maduro, Matt Reily, Sidney Ponson!!!

Edit: and in other news Boston down 3-0 in the bottom of the 3rd.

The Orioles disdain the wild card!

I just bought $8 lower box seats for Wednesday and $4 bleacher seats for Thursday against the Rays. :slayer:

Damn, tix sold out for tomorrow night already (though it's Ripken statue unveiling.) Not a great selection available on Sunday, and holy crap they're expensive. $56 to sit in the outfield?

I'm not that into baseball, but I love Baltimore and the O's. Do they still do $5 Fridays for college students?

They do, but tickets have gone up to $6! There's also Ollie's Bargain Night on Tuesdays with $9 Upper Reserved Seats.

Oh, and for the past 14 years, not being that into baseball was a very helpful trait for an Os fan.

This may go down as one of the best games I've ever seen. I saw a game where Chris Hoiles had about 8 RBI, I even saw Sidney Ponson and Jose Rosado in a pitchers duel that ended in a 1-0 O's win. But to do what they did tonight against the Yankees??? Insane.

Also, Strop, get your head out of your ass!!

I've started dreaming of an I-95 World Series.

If you're talking O's-Nats, at least get your terminology right. It's "Beltway Series."

An I-95 series could be just about anything, given that it more or less runs through or right past Philly, New York, etc.

Marc train series, as the Beltway doesn't connect Baltimore to DC.
