You guys ever calculate how much it costs each time you wear your boots (or anything other expensive clothing item)?

Like a 2K pair of boots, worn twice a week will cost ~$20 per wear over a year, ~$10 over two years, etc. Puts all my "nah, $20 is too expensive for lunch, I'll just eat out of a paper bag" in perspective

Time to start a lease program for expensive baller boots

(and for the record, I hate thinking of anything like that, e.g. "how much is this vacation day costing me, etc." because assigning a price tag to it cheapens it)

Does not cost much since I have only one pair of somewhat expensive boots. I wear the same boots about 5 days in a week, so it's about 1 € per day so far. Totally worth it, and that's why I wouldn't mind buying more.

Yeah but more pairs = less wear per pair

This may be two dumb questions but . . .

These wonderful Carpe Diems came today from Jpc9. Great guy. Thanks so much.

    I'm wondering:

A: should I get these Vibramed?
B: are the laces this long because you're supposed to wrap them under the shoe?

    Thank you. [IMG]

Mr Moo, you should get some sort of cut. I probably wouldn't have made the leap had it not been for your post about it last week. :)

If they were just a smidge bigger I'd choose C.

    A.) a some point, yes.

B.) I suppose you could wrap them but i'd suggest ordering some regular laces from shoelace express. Google images of Cdiem s45M for examples

You could always just tuck the laces in? I wouldn't wrap them myself, they look good on boots kinda weird on shoes unless they're soccer cleats.

You're technically supposed to cut the laces to the desired length yourself, but I'd hold onto 'em and and grab some another pair of shoelaces

    Thanks, Eck.

Those look like standard laces. My cobbler has some for sure.
