jun hashimoto's came in. initial thoughts: built like tanks, gonna take a long time to break in. leather has a bit of a shine or coating but i think it'll get knocked off with use (it's exaggerated in my pics by harsh overhead lights). riri zips are fantastic. i think they fit perfect but i won't really know until they break in a bit and my foot is able to slide as far forward as it wants to (low instep). fits more or less true to size.

please stop posting these single sole feminine fragile looking boots they are just bad.

i know there is an aesthetic in this thread that we all stick to but its fine to post something different, for example this is a carmina boot which is classic mc but it works for sw&d pretty easily, maybe sw&d folks would prefer a bit darker nevertheless the boot would work

Even though I'm not a fan of zipped boots in this style, I'd say backzip is better than side.

SLPs look great given the aesthetic they're meant for, don't understand the dislike.

Don't worry.

sinnedk didn't get carpe diem.

Then he didn't get me posting "MC" shoes in this thread.

now he's posting carpe diems and "MC" shoes and not getting lightweight designer shoes.

Waiting for him to come full circle.
