    I just picked these up from Archive last week. They're amazing, as expected. The leather is ridiculously thick and moderately stiff, but after several wears is already breaking in nicely. They feel extremely solid, and they're really comfortable almost immediately. I've owned other kudu leather boots, but they've tended to have thinner, flimsier leather (and tended to be, well, significantly less expensive) . The depth of color on these is impressive, too. Absolutely perfect.

    A1923 SS13 back-zip is definitely better than the AW13 back-zip.

    models with a toe cap (non-ms) aren't flat. that does look slightly different though.

    Not sure if this is the right place for this but... Love all these boots but I'm having a devil of a time finding anything in my size (US 13/14). Anyone know any brands/shops that stock something for the large-footed man?

    Closer to 2.5k in the US. Prices are going up. The SS13 backzip is 2450usd (in the US) : (.
