Not sure if this qualifies or I'm completely out of my league, but Sierra TP has Bally Boschi lambskin boots for a fair price, inc discount of 35-45%, really good. Retail $950 or so they say... They are Bally, not Guidi or other hi end hand made beauties, but affordable for us mortals.

Laces and sole make me think Augusta. But toe shape does seem more guidi.

Oh eckblk, I picked up the augusta prototype derbies that were on sale at sz classifieds. Agh got them for a pretty crazy deal, but wish I had gotten those CD derbies instead ;p At some point I plan on emailing you and enlisting your skills when I have cash, but then I keep buying other things.

Those Cdiem derbies would have been too small I think. You will need a 41 or 42 in the S45M.

Save your money for A/W12 Augusta, it's epic.

Oh I thought I read they were size 42 which seemed perfect. Hrm I wasn't toooo blown away by the AW12 pics I saw. But I feel like Augusta is improving every season though there are some older more "classic" feeling shapes that you don't see anymore or they aren't really improving back towards, but I haven't seen any of those in the last few years anyway. I'm very curious when their jacketing will become too fascinating for me to pass up. Btw congrats on the high neck coat that thing is amazing! What size did you get? I call dibs if you sized 50 ;p

The A/W Augusta hi neck leather is a replica of the CCP Hi Neck LM/2599. It's even bison.

I sized up to a 50 on my ccp cabin coat. It's really, really slim in the shoulders. You probably should order a 52 and requested the arm length match a size 50. ROR-EDGE is really one of great fabrics Carol offers.

depends on what you like, i think Buttero and Augusta are the best but the Carmina and Vaz get lots of compliments. i do like guidi a lot too

as far as construction/quality i think a1923 kills everything in the pic, but hey 3 things are more MC and 3 are sw&d... its just my mix that makes things work for me...
