My #8's are evolving beautifully. The color just glows in certain light. Ravello, whiskey, and cigar get all the hype but #8 is truly fantastic!

Wow, those pull tabs look great, much more nicely finished looking than the stock Alden ones even.

    Commando.
Might be my favorite sole for a boot. It's as supportive and solid feeling as double-leather, but it has way more grip and cushioning from the rubber.

    Don't underestimate the commando, people!

Thanks. Cost me $25 at my local cobbler and they tried to match the leather and stitching as much as possible.

Wow. Those AF84s are great. I didn't think much of them judging from the site's rather sterile photos, but now I'm thinking of getting a pair. nicely done

I have never really been interested in a tasseled loafer but Mac makes it harder and harder to live without one. Looks great!

Thanks. Last night I was thinking about how most Aldens that are posted are cordovan. Thanks for posting the calfskin boot. Its easy to forget how great even calfskin looks

I have those and love them. When I was home last weekend (in Houston for a few months) I looked at them in the closet and thought "sure would like to wear them but 100 F is just too bloody hot to do so". I did just receive these though
