    Nice color of Whiskey.. Looks like the Whiskey of a few years back, similar to my Whiskey LHS's. A little darker with orange tone ... Anyway awesome makeup Mike!

    Can anyone educate me on the actual benefits of and storm welt?

    Specifically, I have the reverse chamois wingtip boots on commando coming in from Brick+Mortar that feature a regular welt instead of a storm welt. I bought these to wear in all types of weather, but truly don't see myself putting them through anything more than a puddle or two on rainy days.

    Any real drawbacks? Help is appreciated!

    I think it's probably mostly for looks although the storm welt is supposed to block out more water from seeping inside the shoe/boot.
