I just have to laugh that it's only been days that you said you were going to be 1 and done LOL. It happens to all of us, I planned on getting 2-3 pairs at most and I have 4 and am closing in on 8-10, which is still laughable compared to most here.

LOL. Well, I had anticipated a $1000 purchase and it turned into a $475 purchase for new in the box boots, so my first thought was, " maybe I can buy two with the money I originally intended to spend. Then I sold several pairs on eBay (about $1000) and thought, "Well, maybe 3."

I've done a fair share of masonry work and construction and in all seriousness those cobblestones are some of the nicest I've seen. Lot of pink in the granite. And whoever installed them knew what they were doing. Great shoes as well

That's how it all starts. I started with one last year, which grew to four and being on three lists haha.

Also, as a heads up, I've put up a pair of new cigar cap toe bluchers up in B&S if anyone from the thread is interested. I ended up deciding that I can wear boots to my office, and so have been wearing my cigar cap toe boots instead. I just haven't found myself reaching for the shoes when I have the boots. Oh well.

    well worn in Ultimate Indy's

one question: the speedhooks (particularly on the left boot) nearly touch each other when I lace them up. does this indicate any kind of fit problem, or just that the CXL around my ankle has become very flexible?

I am having the same.. I think it's related to CXL stretching. I can lace up my 403s way tighter than before.

No, first 2 films were mainly John Lobb and Churches. C&J only happened on Skyfall.

Anyways let's get back to Aldens!

Same here, with my Ultimate Indys and it's due to my skinny ankles :) No cure there, LOL!

How about the Chukkas? They are one of my favorites and you don't see them too often:

agreed - I buy shoes with tough leather (cxl, shell) specifically so I don't have to worry about wearing them in bad elements. the "cheapest" shoes I own are AE shell. that's not a brag, I'm just ok wearing shoes agnostic of elements. that's not to say I wear Lindrick boots to music festivals, but that's bc I'm wearing flip flops and not leather dress shoes

in Vegas specifically that probably means my Ultimate Indy's. or AE Kenwood loafers. just depends on season :)
