Marcoliani are my favorite, sometimes thinner Pantherella when it's hot out. Ever since I almost froze my feet at an outdoor event two winters ago I switched over to wool almost exclusively, even in the summer because it w ever since I almost froze my feet at an outdoor event two winters ago I switched over to wool it wicks so well and doesn't smell. A lot of guys on here talk about Chups, but I have yet to try because they are mostly a cotton sock.

    +1 for Darn Tough

PSA - shoeme.ca has 40% off today for Canada Day and carry Darn Tough socks - buy the standard sizes appear sold out.

Just grabbed a bunch of Smart wool elsewhere based on the recommendations.

Sierra Trading Post always has a huge selection of Smart Wool - well worth taking a looking. I've purchased both first and second quality and they're totally fine (they're socks after all).

Don't know how young you are, or what your style is... but stance socks are where it's at if you want something unique. I can't yet speak to their durability, but I own a few pair.

Smartwool socks are amazingly durable. I had 2 or 3 pairs of them that all lasted me over 3 years wearing those 3 almost exclusiveley walking several miles a day in the cold Mongolian weather. If it's durability, comfort, and functionality you are looking for this is where it's at.

They also offer a somewhat dressy option with a padded footbed and heel, which really increases comfort for me when I wear leather soled shoes.

I echo DV! That guy is certainly the Thai Scammer I encountered in the SF B&S 1.5 year ago. That ebay seller is from Thailand also and he uses the same product photo as the scammer i encountered.

Plus that Aberdeen cigar Alt wien boot he's selling was listed in the SF B&S a while ago and was sold within our Alden community. Link: http://www.styleforum.net/t/490784/alden-cigar-medallion-cap-toe-boots/0_50

I open a lisiting in B&S to warn other members and you can find more evidence in here : http://www.styleforum.net/forum/newestpost/502988

    Have a good day Gentlemen!

Wondering if any reseller is planning on doing one of these makeups soon, and has a list you can get on

    1) Whiskey PTB on Barrie, open to sole/edge/welt

    2) Ravello short or LWB, open to last/the rest

    3) Ravello cap toe boot, grant last

    4) NST, reverse chamois w/commando sole

    Thanks

I am not positive but I was just at Alden of Madison and I think that they have lists for #1 and #2 (they told me that they expected a 1-2 year wait on many of their lists.

Also, I think that Alden of DC has a list for #3.

Hope this helps and good luck!

My first contribution to whiskey Wednesday. Have had these for almost a year and this is only the 3rd time wearing them. I don't know if the iPhone camera will capture it, but they have already developed a very nice caramel shade to them.
