My Cigar PTBs arrived and they're probably a half size too big. Any recommendations on an insole?

Called about the whiskey indys and the ravello wingtip boots. Boy I would love to own either pair but since I already put down a deposit for a pair of ravello lwb, I would absolutely LOVE to receive a call next week about a pair of whiskey indys. Too bad it sounds like they're not likely to make it far down the list.

An insole really wouldn't help with a length issue would it? I also recommend exchanging.

I can confirm. I just spoke and initially was told that the best he can do is put me on the list while he gives first preference to those already on the list. I fortunately was already on their list and he just hadn't gotten to me yet during his calls. He took my order for the Ravello WT Boot. I would prefer all eyelets with a leather sole also, but I don't know if that opportunity will ever arise. At least when it is re-sole time I can change it up.

Sometimes these lists are crazy. I was put on it for the Ravello back around Christmas time in of course a very popular 8 or 8.5D size, received no call or email today.
I called them earlier today and they took down my name and number but would not allow me to order.
So either I was far down the list at where I was in January or I was never put on the list to begin with.

Its a double edged sword. I hate paying 6-8 months in advance for something but at the same point at least then I know its not a scramble when styles are finally confirmed.

I suspect just like every other order that someone will post tomorrow that they were able to get them, and 6 months down the line after the supposed list wait, I still will not.
Oh well, such is the Alden game.

Got my first Alden in the mail today from need supply. The fit is perfect i went with an 8.5 which is what i also wear in a redwing. I got the Original Indy Work Boot in brown seen http://needsupply.com/mens/shoes/boots/indy-work-boot.html. They look absolutely perfect. Couldn't be happier. And look forward to future Alden purchases.
Welcome to a dangerous habit! Enjoy your 403's (or 405, not sure which model they are)... the Indy is the quintessential Alden boot, despite our obsession with wingtip, cap toes, plazas, etc...!

Nice! I got them in natty cxl and love them, but I noticed some eyelets have sharp metal sticking out that snag the laces. Double check your pair for these.

I may need to file them down with a 1/8" file (if I can order one online).

What does that mean, that you got your call? A call to put down the full pre-order amount ?

I could only put my name on the list.
