I agree with Ryden here, unlined CXL is so good for a sockless loafer.

I was actually going to ask if anyone wears the lined LHS sockless? I wear mine with a thin no show sperry sock.

I owned a cigar LHS and wore it sockless for a while. I sold it for the CXL LHS. While the cigar LHS had more "oomph", the unliked CXL was more comfortable to me.

Speaking of which, it may be time to unbox the unlined CXL for spring :wow:

after wearing my 4060h seconds for 2 days, i think they might be a tad tight on me.
will putting a bigger shoe tree in them help stretch it out a bit, or should i just try to sell them?

Getting a bit of "antique edgification fatigue". The NSTs look good but somehow it feels wrong to me.

I hear you, the Navel is pretty nice but neither will be getting ordered by me.

    Not really anything for Aldens.
Sure we have Sherman Bros. They are really nice guys that definitely like to discuss Aldens, especially if you go in wearing rare shell ;) but they offer nothing special and the downtown location is rarely stocked that well from my experience.
Only other store I know of is Tobox because they stock Saphir products.

Exactly what Ben said. Philly is not that great for shoe shopping/browsing.

Those day trippers are tempting, but I'm planning on picking up a 4060 tomorrow which I think is a little more classic. Still hoping leffot does a another tanker pre-order this year cause I'd still jump all over that.

I have Leffot credit sitting there and am tempted, but like you prefer the more versatile and classic 4060. Decisions...

+1, and I almost always prefer antique edging with #8. Just doesn't look right with that NST shoe on the Aberdeen.

Good to see someone looking out for my wallet haha.

I am really considering saving up and making my next purchase the 975 though... maybe I can convince my wife that it should be my birthday gift in the summer.
