Gentlemen Any thoughts on my future purchase?
    1) Leffot Walter and they will order me a 10EE (not open yet), but not sure about the crepe sole.
    2) AoC AF43, they can order 10EE commando sole, but would prefer some character to these...like antique edge, brass rivets.
    3) Leather Sole Pitt Boot Black - not open for order yet and have been advised they can't order me 10EE, so will need order 10 1/2 B/D

I vote of the Leffot Walter, however, if you are not sure with the crepe sole. I suggest you to wait for the next round of Ryden shxxkicker boot by Epaulet. Exact same specs but with antique edge and commando sole.

That's actually my least favorite thing about the indy as well. one could obviously opt for the J. Crew Indy with the darker welt, but the good doesn't outweigh the silly heel stitching to me. I much prefer the classic indy stitch. I figured it would be a possibility to darken the welt pretty easily , though. Neatsfoot might do the trick.

Ryden shxxkicker boot by Epaulet, what what? I didn't know they existed, in fact I'm having a hard time finding a pic of them online. Can anyone direct me to one?

My NST boots finally arrived (as I had been traveling and missed deliveries the last two days)! Here's a terrible picture:

Question for the board... the right side of my right boot has leather that feels slightly grainy and maybe even loose, like it's pulled too tight or and is going to wrinkle and tear. Is that a distinct possibility here or do I just need to give this thing some TLC and buff out some roughness? I tried to take a picture of it:

I don't know how common this is to know if it's just a small bit of inferior leather texture-wise or inferior leather quality-wise that is at risk for rupture.

Corporate sale coming up in a few weeks. Funny, I think that is the first time Brooks has ever posted the last for an Alden shoe.

Today...According to AOM they are delayed due to material shortage. I'm on the order too. Really weird considering the Ravello NST boot was placed later.
