^ pretty normal for CXL. That's the nature of pull up leather.

Yes sir! I got my snuff LHSes from them, back when they were breaking ways and sold all their stock for up to 40% off.

There used to be another shop there many many years ago, that is where Kathy worked before she opened the Alden shop in DC.

I thought that was a rumor from GYW and also doesn't make much sense.

I had a request from a fellow forum member for more shots of the Alden x Epaulet Ironside Indys. It's a wonderful leather in person. I’d noticed a lack of good detail shots of the reverse earth chamois leather used for this boot when deciding whether or not I liked it. Hopefully this helps others decide if it’s a leather they would be interested in.

    Hi Guys!

Looking at getting a Copley last flex loafer. Anyone size down on that or is TTS the best option? I'm a 8.5D in Barrie, TB. 9D in plaza, hampton. 8.5D Van LHS is a bit loose, but a fairly good fit. Thanks!!!

I know this is probably you first big shoe purchase after reading this thread and seeing people's anally maintained boots. Just don't worry about, these are shoes and shoes are meant to be worn. Alden makes their shoes tough so they can take a beating, they are not piece of art meant to be brushed and pampered. Here are my Indys after 3 continents, 2 monsoon seasons, 4 heels and 3 years. Just enjoy your shoes!
