    Hah! Not yet...
I think a pair of 4060 is needed first.

4060 is the standard #8 cap toe boot?

Correct. My favorite version is TSM. Double leather, all eyelets.

I thought Madison's either had hooks or commando? No? Cool.

I tried this on there not long ago. I can't remember if it had hooks, it was not on commando.

    Send me a PM.
Congrats on your beautiful classic Alden model! Enjoy them my friend.
Use Minion Voice When Reading This: Banana!?!? B-A-N-A-N-A!!!! Looking good the DV!

Man, this thread is making me hungry... What to eat???
Looking good in your Ravello LWB. My favorite Alden model. :)
Glad to hear that you haven't melted. Enjoy your creepy tankers.
Always superb with your shoes and pants combo.
    Harrison would be proud.
The standard model that everyone carries is the 4060 which is all hooks and a double leather sole. Kathy does a special variant, the 4060HC, which has speed hooks and a Commando sole. -Mike

Someone really needs to photoshop a pair of Ravello LWBs on to that minion and that be Mike's avatar

Clearly it would need to be something on the Modified last to pull it all together

Do I remember correctly someone saying that they were able to get replacement laces for their Aldens from jcrew? I wrote them because my jcrew suede chukka's laces are getting frayed and this was their response:

"Happy to look into it for you! While we don't carry extra laces for our Alden shoes, you should be able to purchase them from the Alden company directly by clicking here. Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything else, and have a great day."

Am I remembering incorrectly that others have received replacement laces from jcrew either for free or for charge? The link they sent me is showing laces that don't even look like the ones my sueded chukkas use...
