BB selection has always been pretty limited.

These CXL tassels for about $350 are pretty nice tho.

Me? No I didn't. I thought about it and then decided, like RTP, to not do it. I was actually going to change sizes too. Mine are a 10.5 and are a bit loose on me, so I was going to go down to 10. I was talked into the 10.5 by the RL SA.

These are the BB version. I believe they are on the "Snap" last, which is similar to Plaza, but I'll let others more knowledgeable chime in on that.

Aside from the last, I believe this has a single leather sole while the 2160 (Aberdeen) has a double leather sole.

Whiskey LHS have landed, got some free paste wax as well. The color is even more impressive than I imagined they would be, I cannot wait to see how these develop over time.

Jim at Alden SF was nice enough to offer to ship via USPS. Had I went with the standard UPS, I guessed I would have had to pay maybe over another $100+ for them at delivery. Very great service in case any Canadians are looking at shopping there.

I abstained from the RL deal when it said it was an employee discount. Had Marlow Wingtips, loafers, and tassels in my cart! Just felt wrong to me, plus I need more shoes like a hole in the head.

Thanks for posting; mine arrive on Monday - I was hoping the actual color would be more brown than yellow, and yours look great - exactly what I wanted.
