Does anyone own any of Alden's offerings in hunter green suede? Alden NYC and Leather Soul both have chukkas available in this shoe. Seems like it would be a good fall and spring shoe, but not so good in the winter and summer (the green is too dark).

Don't sweat it too much. I think after some wear and brushing the dents will be much less noticeable.

I dented my cigar shell boots after only about two wears and they looked similar to your pictures. Here they are after a good amount of brushing and very light product application -- I have to search in strong light to actually find the dents now. Plus no one but you will know the dents exist.

Alden DC has them as well. Not a bad looking boot. Just beyond my suit based shoe selection.

TSM did a run of these a few years ago, I believe. Model is 44614H. I found a reference to it on this thread in about 2012 I think it was.

Wow, you a detective in real life? The search engine here works but leaves something to be desired.

Gahhhh...at the beginning of August Kathy said they would be ready in about 2 months, so they should be arriving shortly. With my luck they will come in at the same time as the Ravello boots from TSM and I'll have a $1500 bill all at once.

I love these. They get the most comments when I wear them.

Well, to put an end to the confusion, I just ordered the 44611H from TSM. We shall see if they are indeed brown.

    Damn enablers.

I have both the natty chrmxl and brown chrmxl LWBs... I recommend having both, unless of course your Leydons don't get any wear because of the poor fit.

    Thanks, enjoy them! [IMG]

    Much thanks ATL!
