Shell LHS I acquired from the bay recently. Seller claimed it's whiskey but it looks more ravello to me, but I feel really pleased with the color.

I struggled for a while when I get it as I never tried any van last shoes and Alden SF suggested me to take the same size as Barrie, The LHS is 7.5E and I am 7.5D and Barrie.

Turns out it fits perfectly in both the width and length, it will be certainly too tide for me if it's 7.5D. I am thrilled that I pulled the trigger.

Special thanks to @mdubs and @MrDV for deciding it's a reasonable deal for me. [IMG]

Not a great pic, but maiden voyage for my Unionmade Alpine Grain McCoppin boots. Split Toe Tuesday?

My first Alden boot. I'm not much of a boot guy - though that may be changing with so many great ones on display in this thread - but I'm really liking these so far.

    J. Crew was really good about the Indy boots I bought a year ago and wore 25-30 times. The welt and sole seem to have seperated from the upper in an area and they agreed to overnight me a new pair and take back the used ones. In researching a bit online, it seems there are some construction issues with the Indy boot in general. Wanted to get some thoughts on this. I like the boot, which is why I wanted a replacement over a refund, but has anyone else run into issues with a poorly constructed welt on these in specific as it's not 360?

They look great, on my second wear had them on for about 8 + hours and by the end of the day the leather around the ankle area really broke in nicely. Enjoy!

Whiskey or Ravello, either way, they are a nice find. Congrats and enjoy often and in great health!
