Tifosi - your LWB are unacceptable and unwearable.

FedEx them to me immediately.

This may be my best option, Sazon. OK.

Ha!

I live in Seattle and wear my suede year around except for the sand ones and that's really more of a style preference.

Suede can take it.
Those brown LWBs are cool.

Got my 990 (#8 PTBs) seconds from TSM yesterday. The heel is very obviously defective and I will be returning them. These were in 10D. Ive had other pairs of 2nds from TSM and struggled to tell what the issue was.
That's unfortunate. The discount on those should be 90% off.

I think they should have more freedom to increase the discount offered on seconds. At the very least, have some sort of prorating system for giving steeper discounts on pairs with bigger problems. It just isn't right to make a customer pay the same "seconds" price for one pair where the problem is difficult to find, and another pair where the issue is so large that almost nobody will want it.

Allen Edmonds is the same way.

My first time really inspecting my Leffot LWB. What do you guys think of the splotches on the vamp??

These are some similar splotches on my LWB and Dovers. When I really checked my #8 Naval boots I noticed dots all over the boots that are concealed under normal lighting. Looks like imperfections in the hide that I think will add to the patina once the boots get some extensive wear.

That's a great foul weather shoe.
And it looks damn good.
No need for the Swims.
Thanks! there is some pretty deep slush outside my office so never hurts to have the extra protection. Charlestown is not known for their street cleaning services...

Thoughts on this shoe

http://www.alden-of-carmel.com/Shoes-Brown_Suede_Wing_Tip_205.htm

Sprayed with nanoprotector as a foul weather shoe?

Suede isn't traditionally thought of as foul weather leather, but it is very durable, and I like Alden's brown suede quite a bit (and it should hide water/stains pretty well).
Looks great! Very similar in look and style to the shoe I posted today that I am wearing. I personally love the look up suede when beat up so I think you would be fine. Plus the Targo spray from Leffot is awesome.
