MrDV-Awesome boots! I'm hoping mine look as good as yours when they arrive later this year. However my grass in Dallas will never be that nice, we only get to water 1 time per 2 weeks!

    See Ya,
    Steve

I would get a replacement pair. IMO, 20% of 675 in your pocket (for a pair you have concerns about) will seem meaningless in a few years, if not a few months.

^ But those blemishes are so minor that another pair of "firsts" could have worse. Or develop that kind of thing with a few wears. I'd take 20% bc it is very minor at least from the photos.

@Don L If the Alden Work Boot is the Indy, these Cigar Caps are the Dr. Jones. I love the combo of pants and boots in this picture. What pants are those?

Anyone know of a non-Barrie, non-Trubalance, non-Grant black shell high boot currently stocked?

JGilbert had a run of Medallion Toe on Plaza in Black Shell and plans a restock. Also working on a Plaza NST Boot in Black Shell

Just checking on price, I have a size 11.5 and 12d in the j crew cordovan captoe boot. Looking to sell for $560.00 each. Brand new never worn, just seeing if that is a good price. I figured I would ask you guys.

Killer combo Don L. I have had the coffee twill in the shopping cart on Epaulet at least 3 times, I think you have enabled me to finally pull the trigger.

Thanks guys. I should have excepted JGilbert on my post.

I am already in for the NST boot from JGilbert. The medallion toe version, which I have handled in person, was an odd mix for me - it just seemed too dressy for a commando sole, and, frankly, perhaps too dressy for casual wear at all. Others may see it differently. But certainly a great boot nevertheless.

Great setup! I'll heap on more praise for the boots and the trousers. I wear some slim cut pants, but I don't have a typical slim build, so I am always reluctant to buy trousers I have not tried on. How do Rivet/Walt fit?
