yes, only they weren't essentially sold by invitation. If someone is interested, what is the cost of an email? And, by the way, they are only shoes.

Mac - what's your shell count looking like? 40s? 50s? Do you have a full collection picture by chance? Thanks!

That's a shame, wish I had waited to buy my Indys because I don't see anything else I like. Great service, though.

Many would tell you both, including me. But if I have to picke one, I'd vote for Ravello, given that the new cigar is getting very dark.

Haha. You're right. If I had to choose, it would be olive-y Cigar.

Just wanted to thank the guys that responded regarding on who the makes these: http://www.brooksbrothers.com/Calfs...ar_FZ00039_Color=BLCK&contentpos=11&cgid=1189

I did end up ordering a pair based on the fact that I believe these are C&J. (Although many think they are grenson)

I came to the conclusion after looking at every medallion pattern i could find from english shoemakers. I stumbled upon these ebay posting:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/191223086657?item=191223086657&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466

The pattern by the small toe is a dead on match (appears to be unique to c&j i believe). It is where the medallion appears to split into a upside down V with a big dot in the center of that V.

My wife thinks i'm nuts for taking so much time researching this - but thought my fellow nerds would find this interesting.

Beautiful tassels Uncle. I hope you put them immediately back in your vault because ravello tassels are rare as hens teeth.
