Pitt, jumper, and brogue captoe, aka "Taunton" maybe as well.

I thought Jumper boots are usually on Trubalance?

I personally really like the alt wein shoe/boots, basically medallion toe with extra broguing. This is a picture from an old AoC make up, plaza last, #8.

Yenni will be at the Alden factory this week. Upon her return she hopes to have the answer (or at least a strong sense of the answer) as to whether or not the black shell NST boot on plaza order will be confirmed. I would give a hearty recommendation for that boot.

These are the models I know:

Plain toe boot = Pitt boot (LS)
Straight cap toe boot = Daytripper (Leffot, Grant) = Parajumper (Frans Boone, Grant)
Perforated cap toe boot = Naval (Leffot, Barrie) = Jumper (LS, TB?)

Medallion toe only (Only at JGilbert on Plaza AFAIK)

Perforated cap toe with medallion = Alt Wien boot (only at AoC AFAIK)

    Wing tip boot
Brixton boot = WT boot with extra broguing in the heel

    Indy boot
    NST boot = Tanker boot

    You know my vote :D

Thanks 7FTG, I knew Yenni was going to the factory this month, but didn't remember quite when.

Black shell boots rule on nasty days with terrible weather - when you really just need to stomp through - that darkness fits the dark day

So a commando sole helps. I avoid the plain toe in black it looks so sovereign citizen. But after seeing that plain toe boot in cigar that the Beebs has I would be all over that cigar Pitt boot I believe.

When I got my captoe boots /black shell/ all eyelets/ Alden NYC double leather /flat welt - I thought this look really just supports broguing so eel,l I thought I should have went with the wingtip but concluded that a Perforated Cap toe boot would be my #1. If anything it makes it easy to see you are wearing a captoe when it is perforated on black shell.

So a PCT shoe /black shell or an Algonquin split toe /black shell has become my next decision.

nice. im always intrigued by refurbs. b. nelson did a great job here. Id prefer to send a couple pairs back to alden for refurb but I dont want them to touch the uppers, which they probably will. B.nelson is slightly cheaper however they dont replace the insole
