I cannot wait until my tassels are ready for this treatment. 

My color 8 tassels had this treatment. My antique edging has since been converted back to black, by me. But then again I prefer color 8 models with dark edges, without exception. All personal preference .....

Have any Canadians out there had any success obtaining Alden Leather Defender?

Assuming the answer is no, would any Americans with good access to some be willing to PM me? I'm also having a hard time finding some of that Terrago Nano Protector for my suede.

(FWIW, J. Crew will not ship ALD across the border.)

I looked at getting some Alden Leather Defender in Canada, and it seems that unless you can get someone to proxy it, it's not an option. No one will ship it to Canada that I remember. Hopefully someone knows something I don't, as I wouldn't mind trying some this winter on some shell.
