I realize I'm probably in the minority here, but I have no problem wearing antique edge LWBs (such as Cigar or Leffot's version of the 975) with a suit. The only suits I wouldn't wear with antique edge shoes would be the most conservative, such a plain navy or grey in a smooth worsted fabric. Anything else I don't think it's that big of a deal, just IMHO.

Finally got back in town and was able to open my Alden DC cigar captoe boots. I'm very pleased with the color, which is very similar to my older chukkas, and also the recent Alden NY LWB. No issues with QC on any of my recent pick ups. Before any of the fashion police comments on my jeans. I'm a big guy and it's really hard to find anything in my size for the "cool guy" jeans. The ones I'm wearing are Ralph Lauren. Hoping everyone has a great week!

I would love to get my hands on a pair of those chukka's! Nice collection man. Jeans look fine. Heck in my opinion a decent pair of Levi's from Macy's can do the job.

Great shoes...specially in ravello, and a great shot too. How do you pull off the ground level shots by yourself? Extra long arms?

    See Ya,
    Steve

Those are badass Don! I should not have passed on those. I thought they would overlap with my brown suede NST boot but clearly I was wrong..

To buy or not to buy or a decision between that and another shoe?

to buy or not to buy! I'm eyeing upcoming Viberg derby MTO and can't manage both right now. Unless I return JCrew PCT but like these boots too much.

I also have three Carmina MTO's coming + Leffot's NST boots so I should be good but...

    Thank you Steve.
I do have inspector gadget arms, 34.5 in sleeves. No one out rebounds me.
I hold the external flash w the right hand and shoot w the left. My camera looks like this one.

That's quite the dedication. Not that it's (too) weird, but do you snap these out in public?

I wore my 957s today hoping to convince myself that they aren't too big for me (8D when I'm really a 7.5D) and therefore don't need to get on the Leffot pre-order.

I know I am weak. Better to sell the 975s on ebay or the marketplace?

I've decided not to buy. I own the 975 and cigar lwb w light edge. I love how leffot's lwb look, but I can see them overlapping with other shoes in my rotation.
Or, I'll break down and buy them at noon.
