Check Alden of Carmel for this on barrie -- but not sure on sizes left and think they have speed hooks.

Yesterday and earlier today, there was a discussion about wearing shell in the rain: http://www.styleforum.net/t/85589/the-official-alden-thread/79440#post_7086412.

Most people said they don't use anything because shell is pretty waterproof on its own. The bigger concern was how leather soles fare.

Thanks for that. I was mainly curious about the super invulner, given that on searching the thread, I couldn't see anyone had mentioned it in relation to cordovan.

But as you say, most of the concern seems to be how the soles would fair..

Oh I'm sorry. I misunderstood. I thought you were asking about waterproofing in general.

No worries, I probably should have left off the last two lines of the post, I can see how it came across that way. I'll edit it now.

    Cheers

Pretty sure either Unionmade SF or The Shoe Mart have it! Gents, I cry when I see lighter shell in this thread. I feel as though my chances of acquisition have passed forever :(

Does anybody where an insole with their Aldens, specifically with a Barrie lasted shoe? If so, what is the size difference with respect to stock without insole?

No, there is no magic - just make some phone calls, eventually some will fall your way
