    I wonder how many folks have a shoe brush (or any shoe care product) in their desk drawer at the office for "emergencies".

    Do the mobster boot version still exist? I look at them from time to time on the AE site and am super intrigued by them; however they are never listed on Swims actual site/webstore.

    Be careful with the sizing on those- XL is far too small for 10/10.5

    I do. It's especially useful this time of year when I want to brush the salt, slush, and snow off once I arrive each day.

    Yes, AE has them in stock. However, I was able to recently buy a BNIB pair on eBay for half the AE price. Keep your eyes open as they appear from time to time. I like them at $75 but not at $150, but then again, there isn't a decent alternative. I must have ripped through 5 or more pairs of Totes.
    I am a 10D Barrie and purchased the Swims Mobster in 2XL. Anything smaller would not fit.

    A+++++
    I pre-ordered these too, and for the first time got a C width. I'm finding that the narrower toe box, flat welt and toe stitching make the Barrie Tanker look SO different from say, a D width Barrie LWB.

    I love those boots! The Barrie last works for me but I love plain toe Modified last boots (not shoes though). Well done and enjoy.

    Did you get those at Moulded Shoe or overseas?

    I am sure some of you know about Dandy Shoe Care http://www.dandyshoecare.it/ENG/dandy.html
    The job he does is amazing, to bad he is in Italy.
    Anyone know if there is someone similar here in the US that can pull off antiqueing, restorations and transformations the way this guy does?

    the modified boots were shoemart seconds, marked down to $200 for a leather crack in the upper part of the boot. originally for a French company, can't remember the name

    Those'r nice!!!
    Nice sock selection.

    Your thick ankles must be very conducive to the fit of the 2-eyelet Chukka. The barrie last must have been made for folks like you with full-figured heels, because my boney heels can't fill out a D-width barrie shoe.

    (Not trying to seem creepy or insult your feet)
