Great looking boot but if it's on a non plaza last i don't know if the value is there (470 euro isn't much more than full price here in the states but it's no bargain certainly)

Unfortunately the pleasing aesthetics of factory all-eyelets cannot be obtained by switching speedhooks out for eyelets due to the gap required :(

Thanks uncle. You wear all of your shoes so well. Around the same time you mentioned that an acquaintance has a pair of full straps that he wears regularly and look great after 20 years. Something about that exchange put me on the hunt for these shoes. Your wisdom and willingness to share it with the members of this forum provide so much encouragement. Thanks for everything you provide.

    nephew,

    thank you

Actually, I am deciding against this... the black tanker boots are too cool to part with, and I can wear them with flannels as well.

NS ones are nice but I wish they had all eyelets like the ones Frans Boone did, also think the brass eyelets are a nice touch. Similar take on the Indy from both, just think the FB ones are a little nicer but unfortunately they're also not in the US.

I have been busy. Some of my most recent acquisitions.

Plus plenty of pictures of the new Cigar LWBs and my new Family Set.

The color variation on the left shoe is not very noticeable in real life.
