Awesome. Someone (not me) should try and pick them up. Call TSM: 10.5d, FD-6841, on the Aberdeen.

    Thank you!

Thank you! I love them! After some trial and error, I'm learning that I'm mainly a Barrie- or Trubalance-footed kind of guy. These are incredibly comfortable, can't say the same for my Grant CT (sadly).

I find my Grant captoes pretty comfortable. Although not as comfortable as my commando soled Indys...

Glad to hear that. I went half size larger (TTS) for the grant, but I don't think the shape of the last is ideal for my feet (expensive lesson). My shell Indies are on the double water-locked sole, and even though they're not really broken in yet, they're quite comfortable. Hearing good things about commando, but I have yet to experience a pair. I opted for this combo because I like how it's a "tweener" between casual and dress.

I've been really into my #8 boots lately, wearing a pair just about every day now that it is finally cool around here. Here's a few shots of my regular rotation. These are all 8D Barrie lasted boots.

Waterloc is my favorite sole. Super comfortable from day 1 yet rugged enough to deal with almost all weather conditions

Here's a close up shot of a wingtip with the J Crew captoes, both are the same size but the captoe fits a little smaller for me which is fine since I can then wear it with dress socks.

I have a guy that uses Horween shell to make me custom straps. Very reasonably priced too.

Send me a pm if you want his info.

Yes, but I left the signed USPS slip on my door since I'm pretty busy couldn't sign for it. Didn't think it'd be an issue. I screwed up.

That is shocking, really sorry. I have all my shoes shipped to work. That way I know someone can sign for them and I can control when my wife sees them...win win

I think these guys started adding signature confirmation to all of their shipments recently. I bought another pair a few weeks back that didn't require a signature, but these did.
