They have some really beautiful makeups. Too bad most of the exotics and other more unique styles are mostly gone.

And now I've found a new site as well. The Kudu LWB is similar to a version Leffot has but with a leather sole instead of crepe. The Trickers in orange shell cordovan with vibram sole... whoa... Don't even know what to think.

I like it. They have only 11, 11.5 and 12 though.

I like it too. i've been hemming and hawing at grabbing the 11.5, just not sure how much use I'll get out of whiskey..

really wish fransboone had their cigar lwb in 11.5.. would make my decision easy between the two

Man, do you guys have discerning eyes. I saw whiskey LWB and immediately started reaching for my wallet. Never even noticed the dark top welt.

Impressive as always Sazon. Again, a slight nod to the boots but don't sleep on the socks. They're working as well. Nice combination.

I just order the Navy CXL bluchers from J Crew, I will post pics when they arrive. I have not found real pics on the web.

For those who have already mastered the #8 Tassel, and are ready to experiment with less majestic variations...

Was never a Chukka fan, and this variation has done little to bring me around...

Seriously? Please tell me that Alden didn't actually devote resources to this make-up when they could have been catching up on other [more worthy] orders...

The chukka is Allen Edmonds for BB --- check the soles. I'm not a chukka fan myself, but I saw this in person a few days ago and actually rather liked it. However, there are a great many things I prefer, so my odds of ever buying it are basically zero.

The tassel loafer is definitely Alden.

Pretty sure the blucher is also AE. Definitely not a fan of this one trick pony.

I haven't seen anyone post this, but Context's black cordovan tanker boots are in stock. The online photos look pretty good.

I noticed in the other pics that it had an unusual sole, but the $498 and "made in USA" was what made me mistake them for Alden. Also, the shape and pattern of the LWB is similar, if not identical. However, in a way I am relieved to learn that Alden did not create them.

At around $150 that is a good deal. See where the bidding ends up.

I just bought back a pair of Alden boots from the same person I sold them to.
Feel like this should unlock some secret reward of footwear obsession. "The neurotics badge."

Ditto Alcibiades, what he said. Tanker > pct > Indy
