We should do a group buy on uh is shoe -- we could get "E" widths that way. :)

Doesn't this defect change the fit? The fact that it is on the vamp makes it a bit more obvious.

Yes, both are J Crew and both were my first two pairs of Aldens. TBH, I wear my dark brown more often because they are more versatile. If I had the newer tobacco version that looks more dark-tan with a matted finish, I would wear those more often.

Tough decision, but can't lose. Good luck my friend!

I don't have nearly the trained eye as others but on first glance I thought those were shell. Sweet. Very nice pickup.

Question for the community. Which would you consider more rare, Cigar or Color 4, and why?

I think the color 4 is the unicorn of cordovan. having read this thread for the past 9 months I believe that the only color 4 makeups that have been produced recently were a few sizes of a cap toe boot and wingtip boot from TSM...Alden could not complete their entire order...and the Atom blucher from Leffot...

Color 4 is by far the most rare shell color.

I almost pulled the trigger these as well! I went with a shell Indy instead. They are fantastic, bl@ster!

I'm not sure if this has ever been done before on this forum but this is my wife photo-bombing my Medallion Tip in King

Now, after a stern warning, here is the Medallion Tip Blucher in King, proper.
