    X-post from the AE thread

We just moved into a new place with a lot more closet space so I finally have all my shoes (well, almost all my shoes) in one place. I've been storing my shoes in the off seasons. Anyway, I snapped a few pics today of my closet.

That's pretty awesome actually, I just don't think I want my wife to fully realize how many shoes I actually have...

I had the same thing on a pair of cigar PTBs from NYC Alden, they were sent back and refinished. Thus far they look great, I have had good experience with the guys on Madison Ave and Im very happy to hear that they and Alden stand behind their products. It is unfortunate that this happened in the first place, but glad you were able to get something you liked in the end! Hopefully those Cigars will be waiting for you one day in the future.

Thanks, NYDRH! I'd love to see a few pics to see how they came out.

Earlier this evening I had some difficulty deciding which "royal" shoe to wear on a casual date night out, so I took some pics...
Medallion Cap Toe Bluchers (Alden for BB)

    Tassel mocs
    [IMG]
or Perf Cap Toe Boots (Alden for J Crew)

I went with the tassels, which hadn't gotten much wear recently.

    Absolutely yes, my friend! [IMG]

RTP, great choice going with the tassel mocks. The other two shoes are excellent as well. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Two of Alden's best looking bluchers are the 2145 and 2146.

    Nice pics.
