Congrats! You deserve some black shell after the grant boot episode. Which resemble the ptbs in your post more and more with every passing day

Beowolf - You son of a gun! I attempted to snipe those at the last sec, but you clearly had a higher price than me :)

Thanks Namor, I miss those grant boots, but I was able to score a pair in #8.

I have been on a roll lately with the Alden captoe oxfords I won earlier this month and now these. I now own 6 pairs of Alden shoes and I am not finished yet. I am seeking cigar next.

    TampaTravel,

I was only willing to go as high as $90 for them. I didn't think I would win them.

I'm one of those guys that just spent $425 on one of the Horween single piece cordovan belts. I know it's ridiculous but I got the dark cognac and it goes with cigar and ravello really well. The idea is that it will last me a long long time.

So like others on this thread, I don't like the buckle. Anyone know a good source for brushed nickel or silver buckles that are worthy a $400 piece of horse ass?

I believe Alden DC has a few pairs as well. They had a 9.5 E about 10 days ago.

BTW, just got a seconds email from them for 8D. Shocked there is a Color 4 NST Grant last boot on there.

Also just received the irregular list for for 9d and 9.5d. Had a pair of color #8 LWBs in my size but was foiled by the cursed inventory error. Feel free to PM if you want either irregular list.

40349HC the model you referenced is the Leffot #8 tanker boot, not #4 Grant last.
