They appear to be brand new, why treatment?

I treat my shoes every few months with some Venetian whether I wear them or not. I find it helps keep them nourished and from getting dried out.

I'm regretting not going with the BB PTB in either black or burgundy. I have both the 990 and 9901. Great looking shoes!

I had the wingtip boot and the day tripper but much preferred the wingtip. So I sold the day trippers. The wing tips are my favorite shoe I own.

Swung by Unionmade a couple of days ago to see their newer stocks in person. I was immediately taken by the NST Alpine Grain boots. Now I've never been a fan of pebble grain or split-toe shoes, but for some reason the two in tandem just looked great to me. Here are a couple shots I took at home. I'll try to get some "in the wild," photos if I can ever convince my GF that there are people who actually want to see photos of my shoes...

Also the cordovan indy on the crepe/plantation sole looks pretty outstanding in person. A lot of the photos on the unionmade website really don't do justice to their product. In fact, I guess the same could be said for almost every Alden retailer :(

    definitely.

epaulet, leathersoul and moulded do their shoes justice, most others are lacking

Debating between cigar PTB and cigar NST for casual use. Any thoughts?

I have been loving to simplicity of the PTB recently. I prefer NST in a boot as compared to a shoe

Those look awesome. I ordered a pair too and they should be here tomorrow. I've been on a split toe binge and got the camel suede J Crews ones. Wore those today for the first time. I think I died a little on the inside when I walked into the bathroom at work and the floor was flooded.

I agree that the cigar NST makes for a great looking boot. From the the pics I've seen the cigar PTB with the antique edge trim looks fantastic, and is a shoe I'd add to my collection.

I'd venture to say that poorly kept bathrooms are the enemy of anyone who frequents this thread.

Post up some picks of the JCREW suede NSTs, I've been on the fence about them!

Bravo. That shade of Ravello is fantastic; really pops against your trousers. Always looking good, sir. Good choice.

    +1
PTBs are a no-regret purchase in any color!

I tried the NST in a shoe twice (cigar and whiskey) and just couldn't get into them. Only like them in boots.

Those are incredible. I bought the indy's they had come out a month ago and honestly I wish I would have known about these as I would have waited. They look great, plus they (I think) have a commando sole, which I love.
