    DonL's nst boots look amazing.

If someone wants to sell me a pair of the tankers on the barrie in 9D, i would probably pay some obscene amount for them. no joke.

I really prefer the profile of the Nassau over the Dover.
The single leather sole suits it.

Closerlook, notice what I put in the bold above. Call Leffot & purchase a brand new pair @ retail.

I bought a pair of Aldens today too. Fourth pair already this year. Hopefully I can control myself from here on out. Only 1 or 2 more models that I'm interested in.

That being said, I don't regret today's purchase at all, and suspect that this sentiment will be reinforced when I receive them.

Pics when they arrive, and I'll do the same.

I'm in a "There aren't any other Aldens I want" phase too. Which would be great, except that I'm after a couple of other makes now. So no net savings. Also clouded by the fact that I have two pair of Aldens waiting delivery (#8 tanker from Leffot and Modified kudu Indy from Moulded). I am successfully passing on that #8/scotch grain saddle from Leffot, for now...

    Bakes, what did you order?

Man, I hope my #8 lightens up like yours one day. My pair was almost black brand new :lol

Thanks for all the compliments, gents! I was surprised and happy to see that the reddish hue came out on the Ravello in sunlight!

    Were the tankers a pre-order?

wonderful! I've got to leave this thread immediately, or I'll spend a fortune on Aldens in the future. You are too inspiring...

How does that list work? Is there a deposit or do you pay in full up front?

#8 captoe boots about two months in. They got the method and some Reno two days ago. Pardon the lighting in the wee hours of the morning.
