Any Alden wearers in NYC that can recommend what cobbler they go to? I've got a pair of Indy boots that I need to replace the heels on, and I'm looking for some reliable repair shops.

I got my plain toe boot in modified last resoled at Willie's shoe repair/Don Ville in La Brea and I'm quite impressed with their work. I won't hesitate to bring the rest of my Aldens to be resoled (in the future) at this place. I'll post pictures tomorrow when I have better lighting.

Color 8 Wingtip Boot from LSBH. I'm loving the antique edge trim.

Man...no one jumped on these at $350...shame. Not mine...but someone should have hit the $350 BIN back when I posted these. Cheapest BIN Ive seen for shell in that condition. Current bidder made a bad move IMO, now the BIN is gone and its 7 days of auction waiting to watch these beauties go for more than the BIN. Hate when that happens. Wish they were my size. Oh well.

They will most likely go for more than 350. As such, your waiting will not be in vain. :D

I just talked to Colin @ Leffot and apparently they have been trying to reach me for the last 3 days at my old office e-mail regarding my Day Tripper pre-order... Thankfully I inquired before they could release my preo-order and they are en route today. I really can't believe I am finally going to hold these bad boys and not to mention how close I came to losing them.
