SLAB, those are beautiful. Props to the cobblers. Also, the darkening of the leather looks awesome. What color of polish do you use?

Cigar chukkas from Alden Madison Avenue (fourth wear)

Chukkas don't a lot of love on this thread, but these and my whiskey chukkas are my most complimented Alden shoes. Chukkas really highlight the appeal of cordovan

Nothing special, but found these today on my girlfrien's computer from a wedding back in August.

Maybe not the best sock/suit combo (stripes on stripes) :embar:

The Darlton is an incredible shoe - I'd recommend it even over most Alden longwings/shortwings

Bravo on this purchase!! This Short Wing is the BOMB, notice the less bulbous toe box that seems to be on every Alden sans NST, Aberdeen Tassel....

I love'em. Some of the best looking beef-rolls yet!

My first two chukkas were cigar and whiskey. Both wonderful. Plaintoe shells are great for displaying the beauty of shell.

Yes sir! They were my first pair of shells. The beginning of an addiction.

Damn, 7-fold, quite the Sherlock you are. Well done. But I guess you should be able to do that with the extensive collection you have!

I think he is referring to the creases in the leather

Some people are bothered by the creasing in chukkas, but I think they actually add character to the shoe (as long as the shoe is maintained well with brushing and such)

Is this the same result people get with B Nelson for Dainite? If so, any hesitation I have to get my 405s resoled with Dainite is completely removed.

This is borderline too much roll. Any more and I'd say the shoe doesn't fit
