Am I the only one whose indy boots don't even fit in the bags they give you...? Kinda silly.

My boots fit the bags but they don't fit the box. In fact, none of my Aldens fit in those damn tiny green boxes.

You guys should be receiving large green boxes and large Alden bags for your boots

David, et al, Hope you get your cordovan's. I ordered the Kudu Indy's. Been going back and forth for a while. Discount pushed me over. I live in the NW, so Kudu works as a great all weather boot. Don't own an Indy, so decided I'd jump in. I own some other shoes and boots from Alden, just don't feel comfortable going out in the rain, if it's more than a mist. I'm also waiting for confirmation. They are quite busy and really aren't happy answering q's over the phone. Good hunting all.

Haha how did you get them then? They're tough to get in but mine fit with some careful alignment...

Thanks friend - gl with your order - Kudus are really cool too. I think I would've picked up a pair had I not got irregular Danners from their 'outlet'. Let us know if it ships!

The NRO discount is a lot less appealing with a 14 week wait tacked on. By that time, LS/Leffot/Epaulet or whoever else will probably release some sweet collabs. I don't know what to do.

Plus, I don't know why we should believe them that it will really be 12-14 weeks, could be longer, and they could cancel the order on you after that too. Someone above said they were told their size was 'in stock' but they still got the email about the wait. Seems like NRO is jerking us around.

Do you want the shoe because you want the shoe, or do you want it just because of the discount?

    ^ Good point though...

That's true - but if I'm in no rush to buy and they don't charge me I think that could be a cool way to "delay payment". In the meantime, I"ll shop like a madman?

That's true too though, I'm worried that even though they didn't charge me that they might cancel the order randomly - that'd piss me off and I'd write some shitty reviews about them to add on.

Personally, I really do want the boot, so it was very opportune to find the code worked.

I only own one pair of Aldens (shell indys) so I want the shoes because I feel like these will wear out too fast by themselves, and the discount makes it a no brainer. But an elusive 14 week wait that they more than likely pulled out of their asses...idk

I've dealt with NRO in the past, and they're full of shit. I wouldn't buy from them again even with a 50% discount.

Thanks, I'm sorta glad NOT to support them now.

There was talk of Tom Austin shoes closing last month. Their inventory is 50% off, though they don't have very much in 9-9.5. I purchased LWBs and 405s. Shipping for each pair to CA was $20 (no tax). Brian was very nice and checked inventory multiple times for me. He told me they'll stay open through June since they have inventory of "odd" sizes. Give them a call: 212-398-9419.

I really want to grab a pair of the LWB from North River while they're on sale. Unfortunately my brannock is about 9.5B heel to toe with heel to ball being about a 10B. Anyone have any idea what size of the LWB on the Barrie last in C width might work the best for me?

    Thanks

My suede chukkas I ordered are "Being assembled," and they have charged my card. I assume that means they'll be on their way shortly?

Oxymoron: You have whiskey Indy's right? I'm debating between a pair of those or whiskey LWB's. Do you have any pics? If it's a hassle don't worry about it.
