I am, thanks man. We have two alarms in our back room that go off randomly through the night, and early in the morning, especially when they sense snow falling outside of their bedroom window, so I feel your pain! They went off at 630 this morning...:)

Does anyone know where I can find blue colored soles I can get to put on an old pair of black cordovan alden wingtips? I don't think Dainite makes soles in blue which would be my first choice. Last time I was at B.Nelson he didn't have anything in blue.

though it's been said before, the best way to determine fit and comfort is to ensure that the ball of your foot is at the widest part of the shoes. some people may have short toes and some people may have longer toes but using that area as a reference point has always worked well for me. Also there is just a feel when you put on a pair of shoes if it feels slightly too large or slightly too tight. If you think it fits you well and is not causing any pain or slipping off when you lace them, then they are likely the right size.

Considering that they also make red and green dainite soles, I'd be somewhat surprised if they didn't also make some kind of blue.
Of course finding them is a different question.

There's blue gumlite vibram sole available but I think it would look pretty horrific for what you're planning to do.

First pair coming Monday- giddy with excitement!

Can someone direct me to the "break in procedure"? I've searched and can't seem to locate it.

"6-7 months"? I'll believe it when I see it. I asked about the cigar indy boots I pre-ordered in March and was told they just went into production. It will be another four months.

I think OP is referring to the whole "walk on carpet" procedure and whatnot until you're absolutely sure the size works for you... or something like that?

I decided on the PTB in Whiskey. I had just bought a tan chino summer suit and wanted something to match and wear this spring/summer. Seeing those beauts above makes me pleased with my decision!
