He has clearly bulked up more now than he did in QoS. In Casino Royale I think he had been training longer so he was probably already fairly muscular when he was fitted. The Falconer suit was modified for Craig. I don't know if he made it before, but I had only seen the Falconer suit in a button 2 whilst Craig's suits are all button 3. And judging from Colin Firth's suits in A Single Man, the Falconer is meant to fit at least with a proper length.

Saw the photos of Daniel Craig on Skyfall. Personally, I think Tom Ford did a pretty good job on the suits. The grey pinstripe suit certainly did not disappoint. The snug fit/slim tie seem to be the trend with TomFord and to me it fits Craig just fine although he certainly beefed up for the role this time.

What did you all think of the clothing? Time to update this thread now :) The C&J shoes was a nice touch I think!

I think there can be no doubt the suits are too tight in the jacket and likely elsewhere, an extreme take on the more fitted look. That aside, I like the suits they chose-- nearly bought a charcoal glen plaid yesterday after seeing bond's

I guess this is where style and fashion diverge; Bond looks amazing in fashion, but given time the suits will date and look flawed. A Savile Row tailor wouldn't make those suits, which is why they weren't asked. Perfect for the moment, no good for the decade.

I've heard that TF had to design the suits how the costume designer wanted...so he couldn't do the wide lapels or work his magic...And curious as to why the suits don't fit Craig as well this time

having just seen the movie, and judging it possibly the best bond film ever-- tied or better than goldfinger, in my book-- I recant my prior statement. the suits looked fine, a little neck gapping notwithstanding. possibly in part due to a minimum of skinny-pantleg shots in the film, but they actually looked razor sharp in the film to me. WHAT A MOVIE!!!!!

The collar gap is the mark of a terrible fit. I'm sorry, but considering the resources behind these suits it's a legit call out (to fashion nerds). If I was Ford I'd be embarrassed.

Can't wait to see the movie!

This. The awesomeness of the movie notwithstanding (and it was pretty incredibly awesome), a collar gap means it doesn't fit. Has nothing to do with a "fashionably slim" aesthetic or whatever the costume designer wanted. Just plain doesn't fit. I was shocked at this--even when he was standing still the suit was sitting a good inch away from his neck.

And yeah, if I was Ford, I'd be furious.

Now, Ralph Fiennes' suits... Those were nice.

Though you cannot tell from that picture the details are not all correct; I saw the film this past weekend and one scene clearly shows that the jacket has a single center vent :censored:

Anybody have luck finding the skyfall ties? I don't see them floating around like the QOS ties.
