What wrong on the T&A fabric?

It also depending on the wearer, I have no problem wearing oxford or twill though, as long as they are 100%cotton/linen/C&L mix

There was no problem with them, I just pick the wrong fabrics with my T&A shirts as they were purchased when I was in living in UK.

No chance I am wearing densely woven twills, oxford, or even sea island cotton again in Hong Kong.

Sea Island (quality) cotton is okay in HK, surely?

Not the ones I brought from T&A, they don't dry up quickly, plus they wear hot for me.

I have not try to purchase Sea Island cotton in Hong Kong.

    Linen blends are good.

    Also, Acorn's Zephyr is OK.

Thanks, everyone. I though more about it and have decided to focus on the suit and maybe the trousers. I am leaning towards Lee Baron for the suit and will focus my energy and attention there. Nonetheless o will continue to look out for any odd trouser recommendations you all have.

Why not save the trouble and stick to Lee Baron for odd trousers as well ?

    Hi all,

Any suggestion for a suit if I only have a budget up to HKD 5K? 2 piece is fine to me.

I was going to make a try on "cuffs" but some say they have your measurement and made the suit in the mainland factory.

    Thanks in advance!

Cuffs gave me a cold face when I walked up without any ideas, and their products didn't look great.

I walked to The Hackney, close to it and run by passionate guys and girls. Gave it a try and fitting was done by the tailor himself, whom speaks Shanghainese, not necessarily meant he's Shanghai-style trained anyway.

Generally their product suffice the pricing at 5-6k/2pcs, just fitting not too well on my slender but wide shoulder body. For normal body types they executive quite well.

Disclaimer: Know the owner and we chatted a lot on shoes in local forum. Initially I went there for shoes and come out with suit lol

Heard they are trying full canvas. For Cuffs it's fused for sure

Thanks. Where would you recommend for trousers?

I wear a suit maybe twice each month, sometimes more sometimes less. I'd love to wear a suit more often but generally am uncomfortable with the way most fit given my frame. I'm limited to either buying two rtw suits in two different sizes or buying brands that sell jackets and trousers separately.

While respectable, spending $2000+ usd a first bespoke suit is not something I'm willing to do. I'd rather get my feet wet with the process and experience first, and increase my budget next time rather than the other way around.
