    aether try the outlier new ogs. they do other trousers that might suit your needs better.

    haven't tried them myself but only hear good things about outlier.

    I too have heard excellent things about outlier. I really wish that there was more UK stockists as I would like to try their stuff on.

    For a cheaper alternative it may be worth looking at the Levis commuter range. I can't say I have tried them or know anyone who has to give you an appraisal of how good they are.

    I have the outlier original OGs already, and although its water resistant I'm pretty sure it's not waterproof...

    For waterproof you will be looking more towards proper outdoor manufacturers. I can't think of any waterproof trousers from a more fashion orientated brand.

    Have not seen any true trouser cut pants in waterproof fabric. Outlier and Rapha probably have the most technical fabric/slim fit combos but no rain pant. Rapha soft shell trouser and Outlier woolback would be good options.

    Levi's commuter have some water resistance of sure but also not waterproof. Same for Levi's/Filson 505 collab.

    I guess if its full on downpour we're not expected to look sharp...

    Does anyone have experience of the stone island shadow project jackets, in particular this years trench. I was wondering if you could advise on sizing. I am normally a UK L in most jackets but I am under the impression that you need to size up in ston island. Thanks for any assistance.

    Rapha also do a softshell trouser but again these would be weather esistant rather than waterproof. Rohan also make a pair of waterproof trousers which can be found here:http://www.rohan.co.uk/Product/Detail/MensSaleOffers_02891?ocode=02891254 These may not be as fitted as you would like though as they look like a straight cut.

    I wear an S in most us brands but consistently get mediums in si and si shadow. Mediums are generally 21 p2p. Having said that, a trench may come up slightly oversized.

    Kuznetsov I've just taken delivery of sisp trench and would normally take a xl but with the trench got a l, as TintoTerra says the fit is slightly oversized to accommodate the modular liners and insulators and as it has a cotton inner jacket (only covers the front and isn't removable) I probably won't wear my modular liner with it.

    took quick measurements;

    pit to pit (laid flat) - 57cm
    pit to cuff - 50cm
    shoulders (across back seam to seam) - 46cm

    Thanks for the answers. I need to find one in a large then. Sadly they seem to have sold out in all the UK and EU stockists that I can see.
